That's the first thing we check. Some boards take it fine, some need an upgrade to run a charger safely. We check before we quote, so you know the full job up front instead of finding out halfway through.
Can you do the board and the charger in one visit?
Yes, that's how we prefer to do it. One booking, one day off power, one lot of paperwork. Cheaper than splitting the job across two visits.
I might get solar later. Should I wait?
No need to wait. We install the charger and set up the wiring so solar can be added later without ripping anything out. Ask about the solar plan at quote time and we'll spec both together if it makes sense.
